A Day In: Jupiter, Florida #1

Happy almost April travelers!  The spring break chaos has departed and we are left with fabulous weather and relaxed beaches.  Jupiter and northern Palm Beach County have some of the most beautiful beaches in the Florida.  You won’t find a bustling boardwalk but you will find white sands and fun.   Here’s our recommendation for a day at the beach in Jupiter.

Address: 400 Nathan Lester Highway 1, Jupiter, FL 33477

  1. Eat: Lazy Loggerhead Cafe: park here and stay for the whole day.  Great food open until 2pm www.lazyloggerheadcafe.com/
  2. Play: Carlin park has a great playground featured above, plus um. the beach.  The beach counts for play too.
  3. Learn: Just around the corner from Carlin Park you can find the Dubois Pioneer Home and Archeological dig site operated by Palm Beach County.  There is a swimming hole and picnic ground near the home.  We recommend the Carlin Beach but if open the lagoon and beach are guarded at Dubois as well.

Note- for any of you runners out there, Carlin Park is the running hotspot of Jupiter.  On Saturdays and Sundays you’ll find hundreds of runners logging miles along beautiful and fully sidewalk-ed waterfront.
