Review: Burger Bar, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

GUEST POST: By Joe Stanley, Florida
I visited the Burger Bar Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida last Saturday with my two year old.

Review: SEVEN OUT OF TEN STROLLERS. Fun for adults and kids, good burgers and beers, kid fare and just enough noise. Inside and outside seating.  Nighttime is busy and service may suffer, with young staff.

Address: Donald Ross Village, 4650 Donald Ross Rd Suite 100, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. (561) 630-4545,

Inside: The layout is good with an outside bar that was busy when we were there.  The young smiling female host took me to my table (they stand at the front when less busy).  I requested a booth, and the host smiled nicely when giving a high chair.  Old meat grinding equipment and red chairs/booths the theme.

Comfort with Kids: As a Dad alone with his son, I did not feel uncomfortable, and actually felt pretty good.  There were people drinking wine and beers at the second inside bar, but it was removed enough not to be too overwhelming.  Noise was just moderate enough, and the dining was jeans and a nice shirt, or shorts and a t-shirt. I felt like I could bring the boy and play on my iPad with no problem.

The food: Burgers were good – I had the “hot mess” and I ordered for the little one off the children’s menu. He was happy to eat and look around. Beer also good, with a selection of craft beers along with domestic. (Veggie options available)

All in all a great time. Seven out of ten strollers just because there is no real wow factor for kids. A great local fun place, for solid meaty burger.
