On our cross country journey we’ve had great luck with quick pitstops at Cracker Barrels. I picked up this handy map and we’ve really used it. The store side provides inexpensive new things to purchase or peruse and the food is relatively inexpensive and the waitstaff gets it- you are in and out quick.

I always wondered what cracker barrel was like! We passed so many driving through the south, but never stopped at one!
